Thai Vietjet has launched Sky ConX, a “fly through” network that allows passengers from and to various destinations to connect via Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi base without multiple check-in procedures. Passengers can make their domestic and international connections via the airport without having to collect their luggage and recheck themselves in for the onward flight. In the initial stage of the service, Sky ConX is available for seamless international connections between Phuket, Krabi and Chiang Mai to Fukuoka, Taipei and Singapore, and domestic connections between Chiang Rai to Hat Yai, Phuket, Krabi and Surat Thani; Chiang Mai to Hat Yai, Krabi and Surat Thani; and Udon Thani to Hat Yai, Phuket and Krabi. Suvarnabhumi Airport will serve as the intermediary hub for the service, and in future, Thai Vietjet will work with the Vietjet Group to provide global connections from Thailand to international destinations, such as Australia, Japan and Korea.
