Vietnamese airline Vietjet has announced an increase in the number of flights it will operate on its Sydney and Melbourne routes. From 17 September 2023, the carrier will add an extra flight to the Melbourne to Ho Chi Minh City route, taking the total number of return flights per week to four. Flights will leave Melbourne at 12:30am every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. From 18 September 2023, an additional return flight will be added to the Sydney to Ho Chi Minh City route, again taking the total number of flights per week to four. Meanwhile, Vietjet has launched promotional fares on its website, enabling Australians to access fares from $200. The carrier is set to begin operating flights from Brisbane to Ho Chi Minh City in June 2023.
