Vietjet is adding flights between Melbourne and Hanoi to its growing Australian network, in direct competition to rival Vietnam Airlines.
Running twice a week from 3 June 2024, flight VJ93 will depart Hanoi on Mondays and Fridays at 5:10pm to reach Melbourne at 6am the following day.
The VJ94 return leg will be wheels-up from Melbourne on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 7:30am, arriving in Hanoi at 2:40pm.
Although Vietjet is broadly considered a low-cost carrier, its international Airbus A330s do offer a premium business class cabin.
However, this is not quite business class as you know it: the 12 leather seats recline into an older-style angled flatbed.
