Thai Vietjet, a joint venture between Thailand’s Kan Air and Vietnam’s Vietjet, has launched “Sky ConX”, an airline service that offers seamless connections between domestic and international destinations via Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport. The new service eliminates the need for multiple check-ins procedures for passengers travelling from and to various destinations. In the initial stage, the service will connect Phuket, Krabi, and Chiang Mai to Fukuoka, Taipei, and Singapore. The airline is also offering domestic connections between Chiang Rai, Hat Yai, Phuket, Krabi and Surat Thani, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, and Udon Thani. Passengers check in their bags at the first airport and are given two boarding passes which they can use to board their flights without rechecking their baggage again. Thai Vietjet will also collaborate with parent company VietJet to further expand its services to connect Thailand with other international destinations such as Australia, Japan and Korea. “Sky ConX” flights are available for booking on the VietJet website.
