Vietjet has reported profits for Q1 2023, following the opening of new international routes to Asia, Europe, and Oceania. The airline has resumed its domestic flight network and has been exploring new international routes since the pandemic was brought under control. It recently opened new routes to India, Kazakhstan, and Hong Kong, and plans to expand its flight network further. Vietjet’s new routes not only create opportunities for Vietnamese people to discover new destinations but also act as bridges to attract foreign tourists and investors to Vietnam, contributing to the country’s economy. The airline offers cost-saving and flexible fares as well as diversified services to meet customers’ demands. According to the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), the global air passenger volume is expected to return to pre-epidemic levels on most routes by the end of Q1 and will increase by 3% by the end of the year and 4% in 2024 compared to that in 2019.
