BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. Hungarian Wizz Air
has the opportunity to increase the number of flights to
Azerbaijan, the country’s Deputy Minister of Digital Development
and Transport, Samir Mammadov, said during the 10th session of the
Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the governments of
Azerbaijan and Hungary, Trend reports.
“Currently, flights between Baku and Budapest are carried out
three times a week. It is possible to increase the frequency of
flights,” Mammadov emphasized.
Wizz Air also operates flights from Baku to Rome and Abu
Dhabi.
“We call on Hungarian companies to cooperate in the field of
transport, in particular, on the development of the Middle
Corridor, which is important for the EU,” Mamedov added.
To note, the 10th meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic
Cooperation between the governments of Azerbaijan and Hungary is
taking place in Baku.
On February 17 of last year, the 9th meeting of the Joint
Commission on Economic Cooperation between the governments of
Azerbaijan and Hungary took place in Budapest.
