Sustainability specialist Thrust Carbon has created a new feature designed to analyse the environmental impact of different flights, routes and airlines.
The UK-based company’s Airline Routes Analyzer compares millions of data points to help travel managers to make “more sustainable procurement decisions on every flight and route in the world”.
Thrust Carbon said the tool calculates the potential emissions savings for every route and airline featured within the corporate’s travel programme.
“This insight provides clear evidence for potential emissions reductions by switching carriers which, in some cases, can be as large as 30 per cent,” said the company in a statement.
