As the summer fast approaches, many Brits will be looking to take a trip abroad – especially as more and more countries are opening up to travellers and the EU has now scrapped its face mask mandate from today (May 16). However, coronavirus does continue to disrupt international travel, and this includes rules around face masks on some flights.
For many people, life has returned to ‘normal’ now that many of the Covid rules that dictated our lives for the past two years have been lifted, including those for travellers entering England. And the UK no longer requires face masks on flights, meaning a number of airlines have relaxed their policies.
However, you’ll also need to take note of your chosen destination’s rules.
