Sabre Corporation and Air India have expanded their partnership through an extended distribution agreement. The original collaboration, announced in April 2023, allowed Air India’s content to be distributed to global travel buyers through Sabre Marketplace. The extended agreement will now enable India’s domestic travel agencies to access Air India’s domestic content through Sabre’s Global Distribution System (GDS) from January 1, 2024. This partnership represents a growth opportunity for Sabre in the Indian travel industry, as Air India is the third-largest player in the Indian domestic market. Sabre has been strengthening its portfolio through partnerships with other airlines, including LATAM, Aeromexico, Scandinavian Airlines, Finnair, United Airlines, and American Airlines. In the second quarter of 2023, Sabre reported an increase in its Global Distribution System industry volumes compared to the same period in 2022 and 2019, reflecting a recovery in the travel industry. Sabre currently has a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), while American Airlines and United Airlines have a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) each. Another top-ranked stock in the technology sector is NVIDIA, which has a Zacks Rank #1 and has seen a significant increase in earnings estimates.
