Sabre Corporation and GOL Linhas Aereas have announced the implementation of Sabre Ancillary IQ, an AI-based solution that generates personalised offers for travellers and provides incremental ancillary revenue opportunities for airline customers. Ancillary IQ identifies ancillary buying patterns in real-time to optimise pricing and increase conversions. This solution is part of Retail Intelligence, catered towards supporting airline retailing strategies, enabling the creation of ancillary bundles that fit customers’ preferred choices during the booking process. The initial implementation of Ancillary IQ with GOL will focus on seats, with additional ancillaries becoming available later in the year. This agreement marks an expansion of Sabre’s engagement with GOL, which currently uses a broad portfolio of Sabre solutions to help manage airline operations and revenue. GOL began operations in 2001 and has quickly grown to become one of the largest airlines in South America, with over 80 destinations in Brazil, South America, the Caribbean and the United States.
