Thai Airways has signed a renewed distribution agreement with Sabre, a software and technology provider for the global travel industry, enabling Sabre-connected travel agencies to continue to have access to the airline’s content globally. The agreement also allows Thai Airways to retain its reach across Sabre’s network of global travel buyers and intermediaries. In addition, the airline will use Sabre’s extensive global booking data and consultancy services to identify recovery and growth opportunities. Thai Airways, which operates primarily from Suvarnabhumi Airport and serves around 40 international destinations, has resumed a significant proportion of its pre-pandemic international flights and is developing further recovery and growth plans, particularly in the Chinese travel market. Thai Airways is a founding member of the Star Alliance, the world’s largest global airline alliance.
