Software and technology provider Sabre has renewed its distribution agreement with Thai Airways and added its consultancy services. The agreement means Sabre-connected travel agents globally will continue to have access to Thai Airways’ content across Sabre’s global network of travel buyers and intermediaries. Meanwhile, Thai Airways will use Sabre’s booking data and consultancy service to identify recovery and growth opportunities. Sabre’s data includes detailed insights on itinerary, origin, connection, passenger type, length of stay and other booking patterns, which it will use to support Thai Airways’ business strategy and growth. The agreement comes as Thailand surpasses its tourist number targets from 2022 and expects further recovery from the Chinese travel market.
