Plan3 will use Sabre’s knowledge of airline technology and industry reach to speed up the adoption of its service, while Sabre can deliver a comprehensive approach to passenger disruption for its airline partners. Plan3’s smart re-accommodation solution is particularly suited to retail-focused airlines that provide ancillary services through third-party partners. Using Plan3’s “option creator tool”, airlines can create holistic “option packages” containing new flight options, hotel rooms, meal vouchers, ground transportation, and gift cards. The entire process is automated, allowing airlines to respond to even the most complex issues within minutes.
