British American Tobacco (BAT), the largest shareholder in ITC, will be looking to divest its stake in newly spun-off entity ITC hotels by 2026.

BAT said that it has no interest in being a long term shareholder of ITC Hotels.

In a post earnings call with analysts, CEO Tadeu Marroco said that BAT will reduce its stake in ITC Hotels at the right moment, which will be decided when we get maximise shareholder value.
