Ahmedabad: Gujarat’s Olympic dreams could become a game-changer for its hospitality industry, with authorities identifying a critical need to add at least 41,000 more premium hotel rooms in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar in the next 10 years. Currently, the twin cities have 15,000-plus rooms in educational institutions, over 20,000 serviced apartments and more than 27,000 rooms in its economy hotels, sources said.
