South Kesteven District Council has given permission for a garden annex to be built at Linden House, a £1,500 a week holiday rental and private dwelling in the Lincolnshire village of Bulby near Irnham, despite residents’ fears that it would become another Airbnb rental unit. Linden House, which features a hot tub, regularly rents for about £400 ($516) a night and is advertised with the expectation customers will be inside the property by 11pm. Locals complained that the site has impacted their “health and wellbeing”.
