Airbnb has announced the availability of the Kellogg Doolittle estate, built by architect Kendrick Bang Kellogg for artist Bev Doolittle on the edge of California’s Joshua Tree National Park. Described as ‘organic architecture,’ the property makes extensive use of concrete and blends in with the surrounding natural environment. Accommodation is split across five bedrooms and includes an office, outdoor hot tub and golf cart for getting around the property. Also on offer is access to the national park and its starry, unpolluted skies.
