CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being shot outside a hotel near the center of Uptown Charlotte on Saturday morning.
The shooting happened outside a hotel near the intersection of West Trade Street and North Tryon Street around 4 a.m.
