Vacation wholesaler Pleasant Holidays named James Kareka vice president of trade brands.
James Kareka
Kareka joins the company with 30 years of experience in travel and hospitality, with experience in sales leadership in corporate travel, luxury leisure travel, wholesale distribution and hospitality management.
Kareka was most recently senior director of sales for Apple Leisure Group and was previously director of sales for national accounts for Classic Vacations, according to his LinkedIn.
He began his career in corporate travel before overseeing sales and operations for a Virtuoso agency. He also was director of sales for the Kahala Hotel & Resort in Honolulu, Pleasant Holidays said.
