The Newman hotel in London’s Fitzrovia has appointed alumni from Wolseley Hospitality Group and Hakkasan to bolster its F&B offering ahead of its launch this summer.
Christian Turner has been named executive chef at the 81-room hotel, joining from a 12-year stint at Wolseley Hospitality Group where he was most recently involved in the launch of Manzi’s in Soho.
He also worked across the Wolseley, Colbert and the Beaumont hotel before being appointed head chef at the Delaunay.
Turner will oversee the 76-cover Brasserie Adeline, which will serve classic dishes with a Northern European twist, as well as the downstairs Gambit Bar.
