FCM, a global corporate travel and expense management company, has launched its new MICE Tech Suite through its FCM Meetings & Events division. The announcement of this new technology suite was made on February 28, 2024, and it is available to customers globally, including the South African market.
The MICE Tech Suite was developed to meet the increasing demand for seamless, technology-driven solutions within the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) sector. Its primary goal is to provide a single, integrated solution that enhances efficiency and visibility for event organisers, while also offering a streamlined and effective experience for clients.
Integrated Technology for MICE
The comprehensive suite consolidates various advanced tools, including an end-to-end event management platform (EventsAir), a delegate registration tool (Cvent), an event app (CrowdComms), and interactive floor plans (Expoplanner). For virtual events and gamification, the suite integrates Vii.world. It also incorporates AI-powered tools, a supplier marketplace, and robust data analytics and reporting capabilities. This integration aims to simplify and optimise every stage of the event lifecycle, from planning and booking to on-site management.
The new suite is designed to streamline delegate management, improve communication among stakeholders, provide better budget control, and optimise resource allocation. By offering a consolidated approach, FCM aims to reduce complexities often associated with event planning and management, allowing businesses to make data-driven decisions and achieve higher returns on investment (ROI).
Ciaran Cullen, FCM Global MICE Leader, highlighted that the suite responds to the need for consolidation and efficiency in the MICE industry. He stated that the integrated solution provides enhanced visibility and supports both event organisers and attendees with powerful tools. Bertrand van Schalkwyk, General Manager of FCM Meetings & Events in South Africa, emphasised the positive impact on the local market, noting that the suite will help drive growth, reduce complexities, and offer a strong blend of global innovation with local expertise. FCM anticipates that this technology will empower businesses to deliver successful and impactful events by simplifying processes and enhancing the overall event experience.
