Filipino travelers are making sustainability a key factor in their travel plans, ranking highest in Asia for considering eco-friendly choices, according to a survey by digital travel platform Agoda.
The survey found that 86% of Filipino respondents prioritize sustainability in their travel decisions for 2025. This figure is significantly higher than the 68% average across all Asian travelers. India (82%), Taiwan (80%), Malaysia (80%), and Vietnam (77%) follow closely behind.
“It’s inspiring to see Filipino travelers actively making choices that leave a positive impact on the destinations they visit,” said Michael Hwang, country director for the Philippines at Agoda.
