New Delhi, 12 March 2025 – Digital travel platform Agoda has observed a 25% rise in domestic accommodation searches and a 16% increase in outbound searches this Holi month compared to the same period last year. With the festival of colours coinciding with a long weekend, travellers are seizing the opportunity to explore both domestic and international destinations.
For international travel, Dubai leads the list of most-searched destinations, followed by Southeast Asian favourites Phuket, Bangkok, Singapore, and Bali. Domestically, Goa has claimed the top spot, with Udaipur, New Delhi, Mumbai, and Vrindavan rounding out the top five.
