After the previous two seasons were reported to have had a positive effect on tourism in Hawaii and Sicily, now Thailand’s Koh Samui is capturing the spotlight. Since the Season 3 premiere earlier this week, Agoda’s data shows that accommodation searches from India to Koh Samui have risen by 15% compared to the January average, and 50% compared to the same period last year. With this, Koh Samui interest from India grew more than the global average (12%). And it’s great to note that thanks to Thailand offering visa-free travel for Indian nationals, Koh Samui is more accessible than ever.”
