Ryanair has been issued a formal criminal warning by the Barcelona Commercial Court for non-compliance of an earlier ruling.
It relates to the airline’s long dispute with travel platform eDreams ODIGEO.
Ryanair was issued an order to cease denigrating the travel company and its Prime programme.
This court action mandated the airline to immediately cease its denigrating statements against eDreams ODIGEO and its Prime programme.
Ryanair has continued to criticise eDreams ODIGEO, the travel firm says, and the Judge agreed to file a formal warning to the airline.
The airline is now on formal notice that any further violation may result in criminal action under Article 556 of the Spanish Criminal Code.
As part of the ruling, Ryanair must again remove all denigrating content about eDreams ODIGEO from every platform and channel where statements have been published.
