Ryanair today (Tues, 13 May) released its May OTA Survey, which shows more overcharging by non-approved OTAs – Vola, Tix, and eDreams. These OTAs continue to inflate prices by up to 66% over Ryanair’s website prices. Tix is the biggest offender, charging 66% more (€14.97) for a reserved seat that costs just €9.00 on Ryanair.com. Vola also overcharges consumers €14.00 for a reserved seat that’s priced at €9.00 on Ryanair’s site, a +56% markup. eDreams is also overcharging with a 49% markup on reserved seats (€11.92), that costs just €8.00 when booked directly with Ryanair.
