YouTuber Divya Gandotra Tandon recently shared a troubling experience involving a hotel booking scam through MakeMyTrip (MMT). Upon arriving in Gwalior, she discovered that the hotel her family had booked didn’t exist. Locals confirmed that the listing was a scam.
Attempting to resolve the issue, Tandon called the contact number provided on MMT and Google Maps. However, the call redirected her to OYO customer care. Surprisingly, OYO representatives refused to connect her to the actual property, deepening the confusion and frustration.
Initial denial of refund
To her dismay, MMT initially refused to process a refund for the non-existent booking. Expressing her frustration, Tandon posted on social media, questioning the credibility of such platforms and seeking an explanation from MMT.
