As Eid al-Fitr 1445 H festivities draw closer, Indonesians are again immersed in preparations for the Eid homecoming journey, known as “mudik.”The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) of the Republic of Indonesia projects that the potential movement of people during the 2024 Eid season could reach 71.7% of Indonesia’s population, or approximately 193.6 million people.
