On December 17, 2024, Traveloka, Southeast Asia’s leading travel platform, and YouGov unveiled their comprehensive study titled Travel Redefined: Understanding and Catering to the Diverse Needs of APAC Travellers. The report, based on insights from nearly 12,000 respondents across nine Asia-Pacific markets, emphasizes the need for travel providers to adapt to diverse consumer preferences as the travel sector continues to rebound post-pandemic.
Among the significant findings, it was revealed 70% of Japanese travelers prefer domestic trips over international destinations.
