Cleveland makes Tripadvisor’s list of top trending destinations

CLEVELAND, Ohio – “Equal parts grit and sophistication,” Cleveland has earned a top spot on Tripadvisor’s list of trending destinations for 2025.

Tripadvisor, which bills itself as the world’s largest travel guidance platform, recently announced its Best of the Best Destinations, calculated by the quality and quantity of online reviews during a 12-month period.

Cleveland finished third in the trending category among U.S. destinations, behind West Palm Beach, Florida, and Santa Barbara, California, and ahead of Kansas City and Memphis.

“Whether rocking out to music legends inside the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame or viewing Monets and Picassos at the Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland is a city that mixes equal parts grit and sophistication,” said the travel publication. “Nosh award-winning food in historic buildings, tip back some craft beers amid a Lake Erie beach party or cheer on a championship team with a hardball of locally distilled spirits.
