Yanolja Cloud, a subsidiary of South Korea-based hospitality firm Yanolja, has acquired Israel-based B2B tech company Go Global Travel, the terms of which were not disclosed. Go Global Travel works with more than 50,000 contracts and over 10,000 sales channels to distribute travel products. The acquisition will help Yanolja Cloud develop new technologies using data from its member companies for personalisation and automation. Yanolja Cloud’s B2C platform businesses, Yanolja and Interpark, will be given access to the joint inventory of Yanolja Cloud and Go Global Travel. The acquisition will also facilitate Yanolja Cloud’s global expansion utilizing Go Global Travel’s 20 offices worldwide. Yanolja Cloud was set up as a subsidiary in 2019 and received $1.7bn from SoftBank Vision Fund 2 in July to enable scaling. Yanolja Cloud has also recently acquired Innsoft and Dable, while investing in InnKey and HotelOnline.
