South Korean travel platform Yanolja has established a subsidiary in Delaware, USA, to accelerate its path towards a Nasdaq listing. Originally considering listing domestically, Yanolja shifted its focus to the US market following a $1.7 billion investment from SoftBank in 2021. The subsidiary, named Yanolja US LCC, lists its primary business operations as consultancy and reports a book value of $96,202. As a popular location for global businesses due to its favorable corporate laws and taxes, Delaware is home to businesses including Apple, Amazon, and the holding company of Korea’s leading eCommerce firm, Coupang.
