The ninth edition of the Asian Tourism Fair (ATF) kicked off on Thursday to demonstrate Bangladesh’s tourism potential.
The three-day fair, being held at the International Convention City Bashundhara in the capital, is expected to play a crucial role in the recovery of the tourism sector badly hit by the coronavirus pandemic, said a press release.
Some 130 different tourism companies from Bangladesh, Nepal, Thailand, India, Bhutan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Lithuania will participate in the ATF.
Travel offers, hotel, resort and package bookings, and special discounts for domestic and foreign travel are available at the fair.
