The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) has announced its participation in a local tourism fair in Bangladesh for the first time, hoping to attract Bangladeshis to visit Japan. The JNTO will display various destinations in Japan and provide advice to Bangladeshi travelers on their tour plans at its “Visit Japan” booth at the Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair (BTTF) 2023. Visitors will also be able to experience virtual reality (VR) of Japanese tourism spots and try on a Japanese traditional kimono dress called Yukata. The TOAB, in association with the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, the Bangladesh Tourism Board, the FBCCI, and the Bangladesh Tourist Police, will organize the travel expo, which will include tourism providers from India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Vietnam, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as Japan. The fair will also include B2B sessions, seminars, and roundtable discussions.
