The Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) is organizing the 11th First Trip Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair (BTTF)-2023 from March 2 to March 4 at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in Dhaka. The aim of the fair is to help the country’s travel and leisure sector recover the Taka 600 billion loss it has suffered due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event is being held in collaboration with the Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry, Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC), Bangladesh Tourism Board (BTB), FBCCI, and Bangladesh Tourist Police. Around 11 countries, including India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Vietnam, Japan, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), will participate in the fair. The event will feature B2B sessions, seminars, and roundtable discussions. Fourteen pavilions and 146 stalls will showcase travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, resorts, cruise liners, destination management companies and other travel and tourism sector service providers. A section of the fair will be dedicated to promoting domestic tourism in Bangladesh for the first time. The event will remain open from 10:00 AM to 08:00 PM.
