The annual Mekong Tourism Forum (MTF) and related events are being held in Preah Sihanouk province, Cambodia, until 28 April, and industry players are using it as a platform to promote the country’s tourism potential to a wider global audience. The forum, which has the theme “Rethink for Resiliency and Digitalisation”, is expected to attract over 250 delegates from 19 countries. The Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Tourism Working Group (TWG-51) is among the linked events, as is an Exhibition on Sustainable Tourism. The MTF has previously been held in Siem Reap province in 2010, and in Preah Sihanouk in 2016.
