The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Kevin Yeung Yung-hung, began his itinerary in Beijing on Thursday.
Yeung on Thursday met with the Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, Xia Baolong, and introduced the latest work of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau.
According to a government statement, Xia fully recognized the bureau’s work, expressing his hope that Hong Kong’s tourism industry will reach new heights on the path to continuous innovation.
The culture chief also met with the Director General of the International Exchange and Cooperation Bureau of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Director of the National Museum of China, Gao Zheng, on Friday afternoon to exchange views and explore co-operation direction on cultural and tourism development.
