Three micro films, helmed by directors from three Asian countries, will showcase the beauty, culture and vibrancy of Hong Kong.
“Hong Kong In The Lens By Asian Directors” project, produced by CJ ENM Hong Kong (CJ ENM HK) and the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), has been selected to be part of the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival (HKAFF).
The three micro films, or short films, were directed by Kang Yunsung (“The Outlaws”) from South Korea, Cathy Garcia-Sampana (“Hello, Love, Goodbye”) from the Philippines, and Nattawut Poonpiriya (“Bad Genius”) from Thailand.
One of the films, “Hong Kong, Within Me,” directed by Kang Yunsung, starring Woo Hye-rim (Wonder Girls) and Chan-sung (2PM) premiered in South Korea last Nov. 23.
“Hong Kong, Within Me” follows romantic fantasy created across different corners of Hong Kong, from widely recognized scenic spots to more low-key local shops, portraying two distinct facets of Hong Kong to the audience.
