Malaysia welcomes a new daily flight from Kunming, enhancing tourism and capitalizing on visa-free policy for Chinese travelers.
SEPANG, MALAYSIA – Passengers on board flight MU9629 arriving at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (Terminal 1) from Kunming, China, were welcomed by Mr. Manoharan Periasamy, Director General of Tourism Malaysia, as well as representatives from China Eastern Airlines and Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB).
This new route by China Eastern Airlines connecting Kunming – Kuala Lumpur operates daily on Airbus A320neo with a seating capacity of 148 passengers, adding to the existing 18 weekly flights by other carriers from the Yunnan Province, southwest of China.
