On 24 April 2024, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) unveiled a significant new campaign titled ‘Hong Kong Incentive Playbook: Up the Game for Your Team’ during a high-profile event at The Regent Hong Kong. This initiative introduces 100 innovative and authentic Hong Kong experiences for the incentive market.
The event gathered 110 agents from various regions including Mainland China, Southeast Asia, South Korea, and India, providing them with an opportunity to explore Hong Kong’s varied incentive travel options first-hand.
Dane Cheng, the executive director of HKTB highlighted the significant growth in the region’s M&I (Meeting and Incentive) sector: “Last year, Hong Kong welcomed over 1.3m MICE visitors, with the Meeting and Incentive (M&I) segment accounting for a staggering 65%.”
