New Delhi: Interglobe Enterprises owned by the airline giant Indigo, in association with US-based Archer Aviation, will introduce an electric air taxi service in India by 2026. It will allow passengers from Connaught Place in Delhi to reach Gurgaon in Haryana in under seven minutes. The passengers will be able to fly on this route by spending just Rs 2000 – 3000. Usually, it would take at least one hour to cover this 27-kilometre distance by road in a car. Besides Delhi, air taxi services would be launched in Mumbai and Bengaluru in the initial phase.
