Kochi: Kerala is eminently qualified to become the premium experiential tourism hub of India and for that there needs to be a meaningful engagement with other states of India during the post-COVID recovery period, Governor Arif Mohammed Khan said on Thursday.
The Governor was speaking at the inauguration of the 11th edition of the Kerala Travel Mart (KTM) which is the country’s biggest tourism event, according to a release by the KTM Society.
Inaugurating the four-day event which will conclude on May 8, Khan, according to the release, said, “A meaningful engagement among the Indian states is very important for sustainable and inclusive development of tourism. This is the right time to further strengthen the cooperation and coordination among the states in the tourism sector for the benefit of everyone.”
