Tourism minister Vishvendra Singh said that for some time the foreign tourists are not going to come and our focus should be on attracting domestic travellers. “We have monuments and palaces. But we need to create more activity-based tourism to attract domestic travellers. Rajasthan has huge tourism potential and we have been able to realize only 20 per cent of it. That means we can do much better,” said Singh. He said they had a meeting with the senior officials of Heritage River Journeys, which currently owns and operates four luxury river cruise vessels across India. tnn
