Several fall foliage festivals are currently taking place in various provinces in South Korea. The Beartree Park Fall Foliage Festival in Sejong offers outdoor concerts, unique photo zones, and a stroll along the walking trail. Visitors can enjoy the autumn breeze and immerse themselves in nature, with the festival running till Sunday. The Goheung Yuza Festival in South Jeolla Province allows visitors to taste the city’s specialty yuja, also known as yuzu, and participate in hands-on activities and various performances. The Geoje Island Flower Festival in South Gyeongsang Province features autumn flowers in exhibitions, displays, and hands-on activities like sweet potato harvesting. The Cheongsong Apple Festival in North Gyeongsang Province offers apple-themed programs, a “Nanta” experience, and an outdoor parade. Lastly, the Chrysanthemum Festival Korea in South Jeolla Province, which has been running since 2004, features diverse programs for visitors to make and see works of art made with autumn flowers, as well as hands-on activities, drone shows, outdoor concerts, and traditional theatrical performances. Each festival has its own admission fees and offers a variety of entertainment and educational opportunities for visitors of all ages.
