Get ready to soar over the bustling streets of Seoul in a new way.
Starting in June, visitors to the Yeouido Hangang Park nearby Hangang River, will have the chance to board a tethered helium balloon that will lift them 150 meters into the air, offering unparalleled panoramic views of the South Korean capital. Dubbed “Moon of Seoul” the attraction is designed to captivate and enchant.
Adorned with the city’s vibrant “Seoul My Soul” branding, the balloon can accommodate up to 30 passengers per ride, with each journey lasting an impressive 15 minutes. It will boast year-round operations from noon to 10 PM daily (with the exception of Mondays for maintenance).
“Moon of Seoul will be a new landmark in the city,” enthused Kim Young-hwan, the director general of Seoul’s Tourism and Sports Bureau. “We will continue to make Seoul a city that people want to stay longer and revisit.” With this magnificent new addition, it is believed that the South Korean capital is poised to soar to even greater heights on the global tourism stage.
