Asiana Airlines rises 9.8% after media reports that EU antitrust regulators are set to approve Korean Air Lines’ planned acquisition of Asiana, following Asiana’s pledge to sell its cargo business and divest four European routes. Korean Air advances 2.4%. Oil refiners S-Oil adds 1.3%. Meanwhile, Taeyoung Engineering & Construction, which is under debt restructuring, falls 6.0%, extending losses to a second straight session.
