Max Hotels Group is a subsidiary of Max Myanmar Holding Co., Ltd that was established in 2002 to cater to the growing demand for high-quality accommodation from both Myanmar travelers and foreign tourists. The group currently manages three hotels, Hotel Max in Nay Pyi Taw which is run by the group itself, and The Lake Garden in Nay Pyi Taw and Novotel Yangon Max in Yangon that are managed by ACCOR. Max Hotels Group is known for its high attention to detail when constructing its hotels, which are built from the best local and imported materials. The government of Myanmar has made the tourism sector one of its priorities, and in June 2013, it unveiled a Tourism Master Plan developed with the Asian Development Bank that outlines the path for sustainable growth in Myanmar’s tourism sector over the next decade. Max Hotels Group is committed to supporting this plan by establishing a network of hotels throughout Myanmar that uphold the high standards set by its first three properties. In the coming months and years, Max Hotels Group plans to open five new hotels, two of which will be managed by Accor, an international hotel management company, to meet the growing demand from Myanmar travelers and tourists.
