Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is preparing to launch flights to India, with the carrier currently undergoing regulatory procedures. The airline, which serves 24 destinations from the UAE capital, currently operates eight aircraft, but is looking to double that number within the next year. It is set to launch operations to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan this summer, and to relaunch flights to Larnaca, Santorini and Sohag, Egypt. The company aims to increase passenger numbers to over two million this year, up from 1.2 million in 2022. The airline, which is known for its low prices, is also looking to launch flights to Pakistan.
