Imran Khan, former Prime Minister and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has stated that he will not participate in talks with the government, but members of his party will attend instead. Speaking in an exclusive interview with Urdu News, a Saudi Arabian news agency, Khan said that holding elections within the constitutional limit of 90 days was the most pressing issue. If elections are not held within this period, this would be disrespectful and an insult to the Constitution, he added. The PTI chief also criticised the PDM alliance for rejecting the Supreme Court’s verdict, which has resulted in the law of the jungle prevailing in Pakistan. He urged the nation to support the Supreme Court on its decisions.
