The Jammu and Kashmir Police have issued a warning against suspicious international mobile numbers, which are spreading rumours against the upcoming G20 tourism working group meeting in Srinagar from May 22 to 24. The police have advised the general public to remain cautious of such numbers and not respond to them. This event marks the first international gathering in the region after the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A. Around 50 delegates are expected to participate in the G20 meeting in Srinagar, and they will have a chance to go sightseeing in Baramulla, Dachigam National Park, and the ski resort of Gulmarg. This event is expected to boost tourism, generate employment for locals, and make the region a stable destination for investment. Additionally, it will provide India with an opportunity to demonstrate to the world that normalcy has been restored in the Union Territory.
